Whilst the focus of most sex education is on negative sexual and reproductive health outcomes (STI's, HIV infection, unwanted pregnancy etc), showmehow.co.uk is different because it focuses on the pleasurable aspects of sex, stimulating openness and delivering information in an appropriate tone and contemporary format. We think that sexual education should be about more than disease and reproduction prevention we think more emphasis should be placed in the pleasure and the positive aspects of sexual education. Whilst not its primary role, (there is no shortage of excellent advice and education in this area from Governmental agencies) we hope showmehow.co.uk content, especially the courses on safe sex, may also encourage discussions on issues such as contraception and disease prevention with their partners.
